Our December 2025 Camp focuses on helping every young player grow in confidence, skill, and game understanding through hockey skills development. Inspired by England Hockey’s Golden Thread, we create a player-centred development environment where players feel supported and challenged at the right level.
We focus on hockey skills development that builds core skills beneficial for school, club, and future performance pathways. Our December 2025 Camp sessions promote player-centred development by encouraging athletes to make good decisions, read the game effectively, and apply techniques in realistic, game-based situations.
Players enhance their hockey skills development through small-sided games, engaging challenges, and guided competition. This approach aligns with England Hockey’s focus on player-centred development, promoting learning through realistic and enjoyable hockey experiences, especially in the context of the December 2025 Camp.
Our coaches adhere to England Hockey’s philosophy of fostering an empowering, player-centred development atmosphere, which is essential for our December 2025 Camp. We focus on hockey skills development by promoting confidence, curiosity, and resilience.
Our goal is to create an environment where players can express themselves, take risks, and learn from mistakes, especially during the December 2025 Camp focused on hockey skills development and player-centred development.
The December 2025 Camp is our inaugural event, focusing on hockey skills development. To ensure a tailored experience, we are limiting participation to St Hugh's pupils only as we refine our approach to player-centred development.
